You've probably heard big promises from processors before. Here are the program and device costs of dual pricing with FeeSlicers, in plain numbers. Your full fee schedule is in your merchant agreement, and we walk through every line with you before you sign.
1. The two prices your customers see
With Edge, North's dual-price program, every item has a cash price and a card price. The card price is about 4% higher than the cash price, and it's the same for credit and debit cards.
You post the card price for every item, with the cash price beside it. How you post depends on card-brand rules and your state's law — see what your state requires.

3. Everything else is in writing first
Your merchant agreement lists every fee, including statement, annual and account fees. George goes through it with you line by line before you sign, and you get a copy of every page. If a number isn't on this page, it'll be in that agreement, not a surprise on your first statement.
Buying a device outright instead of taking the free one? We'll quote it in writing for your setup.
4. How FeeSlicers is paid
We don't bill you separately. As an independent Sales Partner of North, we're paid by North from the processing relationship, so we only do well if you stay happy with how your setup works.
Pricing questions
Is the card price the same for credit and debit cards?
Yes. One card price applies to every card. Only cash gets the cash price.
Why does the Edge program fee start in month four?
That's North's current terms for merchants boarded on or after October 1, 2026: the $9.95/month Edge program fee begins in your fourth month.
What does "$25 monthly minimum" mean?
Free placement carries a $25 monthly minimum. It's part of the free-device terms, and George will show you exactly how it's calculated on your account before you sign.
Can I keep my current terminal?
Edge runs on Payanywhere devices and on certain cash-discount-ready terminals. George will tell you whether yours works, or which Payanywhere device fits.
Is there a contract?
Your merchant agreement sets the term and any early-termination terms. We show you those before you sign, and we'll tell you honestly if waiting makes more sense for you.
