A countertop terminal with real buttons.

A 4" touchscreen, a physical keypad and a built-in receipt printer, connected by Wi-Fi or Ethernet. It stays at the register, and every sale shows the cash price and the card price about 3.5% higher.

A closer look.

How dual pricing works on it.

You ring the sale once. The Smart Keypad works out both totals from the cash price you entered, and the customer picks how to pay.

ExampleCash priceCard price
Large pizza$18.00$18.63
Six-pack$12.99$13.44
Oil change$49.99$51.74
  • Tips: a tip is added to the total the customer chose.
  • Receipts: the receipt shows the price the customer actually paid.
  • Refunds: a refund goes back at the price the customer paid, card or cash.
  • The notice: you post North's customer notice at the entrance and the register, and we show you where it goes for your state.

Smart Keypad questions.

Smart Keypad or a touchscreen-only device?

If your staff key in amounts all day, real buttons are faster and easier to hit without looking. If you mostly ring items from a menu, a bigger touchscreen like the Smart Point of Sale may suit you better.

Can the Smart Keypad go to the table?

It's built to stay at the counter and connects by Wi-Fi or Ethernet. For payment at the table or curb, the Smart Terminal or Smart Terminal Mini is the better choice.

Can customers enter their own PIN?

Yes. The customer enters their PIN on the Smart Keypad for PIN debit. If you'd rather the customer have their own PIN pad facing them, the Smart PINPad Pro adds one.

Can I add a cash drawer?

Yes. Payanywhere offers a cash drawer and a kitchen printer as accessories for its Smart devices. LaVon quotes any accessories in writing with your setup.

Is the Smart Keypad right for your counter?

Tell LaVon how you take payments now. He'll tell you whether the Smart Keypad fits, what it costs each month, and whether you qualify for a free one.
