Payanywhere Smart Terminal · PAX A920 Pro
The handheld that prints the receipt where you are.
A wireless terminal with a built-in receipt printer. Take it to the table, the curb or the job site, and the customer sees both totals before they pay: the cash price, and the card price about 3.5% higher.
Relax. LaVon handles the whole thing, and once you're live he's a call or text away. Not a call center.
Who it's for.
The Smart Terminal fits a business that takes payment away from the register and still needs to hand over a paper receipt.
Diners and sit-down restaurants
Pay at the table. The server brings the terminal, the guest adds a tip on screen, and the receipt prints right there. Dual pricing for diners →
Trades and field service
Get paid when the job is done, in the driveway, with a printed receipt for the homeowner. Runs on 4G when there's no Wi-Fi. Dual pricing for trades →
Lines, curbside and events
Walk the line at an ice cream window, run curbside pickup, or work a market booth without a cord. Dual pricing for ice cream shops →
Only need to take payment at a counter? A countertop Smart Keypad or Smart Point of Sale is usually the better fit. Want it smaller with no printer? Look at the Smart Terminal Mini.
A closer look.

How dual pricing works on it.
You ring the sale once. The Smart Terminal works out both totals from the cash price you entered, and the customer picks how to pay.
| Example | Cash price | Card price |
|---|---|---|
| Breakfast for two | $19.00 | $19.67 |
| Service call | $150.00 | $155.25 |
| Two cones | $9.00 | $9.32 |
- Tips: the guest picks a tip on screen, and it's added to the total they chose.
- Receipts: the printed receipt shows the price the customer actually paid.
- Refunds: a refund goes back at the price the customer paid, card or cash.
- The notice: you post North's customer notice at the entrance and the register, and we show you where it goes for your state.

Smart Terminal questions.
Does the Smart Terminal work without Wi-Fi?
Yes. It has 4G cellular built in, so it can take payments in a driveway, a parking lot or a market booth. It also has an offline mode for spots with no signal; those payments go through once it reconnects.
Can customers add a tip on the Smart Terminal?
Yes. Turn tipping on and the customer picks a percentage or enters an amount on screen before they pay. The tip is added to the total they chose, cash price or card price.
Smart Terminal or Smart Terminal Mini?
The Smart Terminal has a built-in printer; the Mini doesn't. If you hand over paper receipts away from the register, choose the Smart Terminal. If customers mostly take a text or email receipt, the Mini is smaller and lighter.
Can I use it at the counter too?
Yes. Set it on the counter, or in the optional dock if you want a wired Ethernet connection. Many diners use a Smart Terminal at the table and a countertop unit at the register.
Is the Smart Terminal right for your counter?
Tell LaVon how you take payments now. He'll tell you whether the Smart Terminal fits, what it costs each month, and whether you qualify for a free one.
Relax. LaVon handles the whole thing, and once you're live he's a call or text away. Not a call center.
